Greece’s budget records a primary surplus of € 5.331 in Jan-Oct 2017

Greece’s budget recorded a primary surplus of € 5.331 billion in January-October 2017, compared with a primary surplus of € 4.859 billion in the corresponding period of 2016 and a target of a primary surplus of € 2.752 billion.

This is apparent from the state budget execution figures for January-October 2017, which also saw a general government surplus of € 145 million against a deficit of € 342 million in the corresponding 2016 period and a deficit target of € 2,434 billion (included in the draft budget report 2018) for the corresponding period of 2017.
