Violent clashes among refugees broke out in the hot spot of Skaramagkas in West Attica in the early morning hours of Tuesday. Involved in the clashes were male refugees from Syria and Kurds. One Jurdish man has been injured, probably stabbed with a knife.
The clashes were very violent, involved also the use of knives.
Greek policy intervened and made use of tear gas in order to rescue the injured Kurdish refugee from the hands of the Syrian men,” media report.
The man was transferred to a hospital where he remains. His life is not in danger.
One Syrian man has been arrested.
The clashed broke out around 3 o’ clock in the morning for unknown reason.
According to unconfirmed information the clashes might have broke out after a dispute about trading with drugs.
