On the bright side of life amid war in the Middle East, Hollywood star Brad Pitt concluded filming of “The Riders” on the island of Hydra and have moved to Halkida on the island of Evia on Thursday.
Pitt arrived by yacht in the early hours of Thursday, March 5, and , March 11, inspected the locations where scenes of the film in which he stars will be filmed, local media reported.
According to information, filming in Halkida will last until Wednesday, March 11.
Production cameras have already taken up positions at the city’s old railway station, while security measures are heightened.

In exclusive reports and footage, local evima.gr revealed, the yacht “Persefoni” that transported Brad Pitt, docked in front of the train station in Halkida shortly after 05.00 in the morning.

Filming will last until late afternoon and will take place inside the train station building.
Hellenic Train employees are on site and inform people that ticketing at the Halkida station is not possible today and is carried out exclusively inside the trains.
When filming in Halkida is concluded, the famous actor and the production teams are expected to move to Nea Marki seaside resort in eastern Attica by Friday, March 13 for the last scenes of the film on Greek soil.
Brad Pitt arrived in Hydra on February 19, delighting locals and visitors. some residents took part in the filming as well.
The film is directed by Edward Berger, who also directed “All Quiet on the Western Front”, which was awarded the Oscar for Best International Film, as well as “Conclave”, which received 8 Oscar nominations.
“The Riders” is based on the novel of the same name by Australian author Tim Winton, published in 1994, which was nominated for the Booker Prize.
