According to local media voria.gr, archaeologists estimate that the mosaic belonged either to villas from the 4 century AD or to a large public building of the same period.

The found mosaics are generally in geometric shaped and in good condition. They are believed to decorate the floor of the patio in the west part of the gallery.

A beautiful mosaic with the figure of a woman stands out. The woman’s face has been destroyed, but it seems that she is in a seated position. also the face of a child is distinguished.

The mosaic are part of the large area that includes a bath and wall ruins. Broken glass pieces have been found as well. It is assumed that they belonged to bottles with aromatic oils used by the bathers.
