Mid season sales, the Spring Sales, have been launched in Greece today, Thursday, May 2nd 2019, and will last until May 15.
Shops will be able to open also on Sunday, May 5th, from 11 o’ lcok in the morning until 6 o’ clock in the afternoon.
In contrast to main winter and summer sales, the spring sales do not affect all products in a retail store but only chosen ones.
The mid season sales were enforced during the crisis years by the country’s creditors who adopted the OECD proposals to boost Greek economy.
The chairman of the Retailer Union Spyros Kafounis told media that the mid season sales were “outdated” that do not help the market.
