Six lighthouses across Greece will open their doors to visitors over the upcoming weekend. The lighthouses are located on the mainland and on some Greek islands.
The lighthouses that will open their doors to visitors are:
Monemvasia (Lakonia), Koprena (Arta), Alexandroupolis (NE Greece, Kakis Kefalis in Chalkida, Fiskardo on Cephalonia and Korakas on the island of Paros.
The lighthouses will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 07:00 p.m. from Saturday, June 30, until Monday, July 1, 2019.
The event marks the celebration of the International Day of the Seafarer on June 25th.
