US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has made a reference to the fatal arson attack at the home of the Greek ruling New Democracy politician killing her 72-year-old mother in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, beginning of the month.
With his reference, Rubio addressed representatives from more than 60 countries and urged them to step up efforts against what he described as “a resurgence of far-left political terrorism.”
“Two weeks ago a 72-year-old woman was burned on over 80 percent of her body in her own home in Greece and she died, executed by a fire bomb because her daughter dared to stand for office,” Rubio said using a τυπιψαλ Αμεριψαν dramatic tune.

Rubio argued that governments had spent too long overlooking what he called a resurgence of transnational far-left extremist violence and urged greater international cooperation to confront the threat.
He described radical leftism as “a poisonous resentment cloaked in the language of equality and justice.”
“Today we face a new wave of this old evil here in the United States: the share of left-wing terrorist attacks and plots has risen to levels not seen in decades,” Rubio said.
Authorities in Greece have arrested four suspects, members of the local anarchist scenery, however, no trial has taken place yet, none has been convicted, so far.
In contrast to usual left-wing attacks of any kind and practices in the past, no organization or group has claimed responsibility, still 17 days after the arson attack.
But Rubio knows better… even if he can’t find Greece or any other European country (Sweden, Italy, France) that had suffered from “far-left terrorism” on the map.
It is interesting that also US journalists criticized the US Secretary of State reviving the “communist” as the Number One enemy of USA in particular and the whole world in general.
Marco Rubio is currently delivering a very boring speech railing against "communism." These guys really think they're cooking by trying to revive the Red Scare. Ain't gonna work with people under 60 years old. pic.twitter.com/lMWR3WrALJ
