European lenders must have either a weird sense of humor or they are complete freaks in the eurozone vaudeville. Just hours after the Greek general elections, and while the ink has yet to dry on the ballot papers, the finance ministers of the eurozone will hold a Eurogroup meeting to discuss the state of the Greek economy.
The state of the Greek economy will be on the Eurogroup’s agenda when it meets on July 8.
According to state-run news agency amna, the Eurogroup will discuss the Greek economy as part of the third report on enhanced surveillance following the completion by the country of its fiscal adjustment programs.
Speaking to amna, a Eurogorup source said that although EU Finance Ministers are aware the meeting is scheduled for the day after Greek general elections, they decided to discuss the issue then as a way of sending “the right message” to the government that emerges.
PS My cat claims that the Eurogroup rulers are politically perverse and arrogant who love to humiliate Greece. But she is a cat. What does she know about real life politics, economy and European solidarity?
You cat’s IQ is way above the IQ of those despotic, moronic and arrogant crooks and banksters running the EU and ECB. See if your cat can be elected to the EU parliament. That would help.
