Heavy rainfalls and thunderstorms hit Greece from Sunday evening to Monday morning. A total of 6,405 thunderbolts fell mainly in western Greece, Central Macedonia and the Central Aegean Sea, according to data provides by “ZEUS” system.

As of Monday afternoon, Nov 18, the bad weather front weakened.

The weather will remain unstable with cloudiness, rainfalls and thunderstorms locally in the next couple of days of the week.
Areas affected will be: the Ionian Sea, Western Greece, Central Macedonia, Thessaly.
The bad weather front will move to the East.
