A woman of unknown identity data, most probably of German origin, was found wandering around in West Attica at the end of October. She has been hospitalized in Athens ever since with health and communication problems. He name is given as GEMUA DORA. The Greek service for missing persons has issued an Alert and asks for citizens’ help to locate the woman’s family.
According to a TV magazine, the woman initially gave her name as Dosfitta Banchmal.
Her fingerprints identified her as Dora Gemua of Guerjo and Erba. She is 50 years old and she was born in Germany.
She was found wandering around in the old Athens-Corinth highway on October 27, 2019. She was taken to the police station of Elefsina and by prosecutor’s order she was admitted to the General Hospital of Nikaia in Piraeus, where she remain until now.
“Communication with her is almost impossible due to serious health problems,” the website of Fos Sto Tounel notes, adding “she seems to understand better than Greek, English and mainly German.”
The hospital has reportedly informed the German Embassy in Athens about the case.
“Do you know this woman? She needs her family,” the Alert message issued on 6. December 2019 states.
The woman is 1.75 m tall and of average weight.
