Taxis and private cars are allowed to carry two passengers in addition to the driver as of May 8, 2020, a decision of Greece’s Ministry of Transport published in the Official Gazette said on Friday. Exceptionally, the passengers’ limit may be exceeded only in the case of parents with minor children.
Driver and passengers must wear a face mask and will be fined with 150 euro if they violate the rule.
According to the ministerial decision, it is allowed to transport two passengers, in addition to the driver, in public passenger cars (TAXIS) and in private passenger cars (private cars) with up to five seats.
“The passengers’ limit applies also to double-cab, mixed-use and Van-type vehicles, ie as applicable for passenger cars for private use (E.I.X.) up to seven (7) seats,” the ministry said.
“In all these vehicles it is mandatory to use a non-medical mask to protect the passengers and the driver and for each violation an administrative fine of 150 euros is imposed on both the driver of the vehicle and the passengers,” the decision notes.
Finally, a circular signed by the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Giannis Kefalogiannis, clarified that during the travels with official cars of the public services, bodies of public sector, local authorities as well as for the cars of the Diplomatic Corps, Consular Corps, the Staff of Embassies and Foreign Missions, the following applies:
· For passenger vehicles up to seven (7) seats, it is allowed to carry two (2) more passengers than the driver.
· For cars of eight (8) or nine (9) seats, it is allowed to carry three (3) passengers, in addition to the driver.

If there are no cases of this Wuhan virus on the island, why are we still locked up?
It seems to be silly not to allow the people of the island to go out and do what they can if there is/are no cases of this virus.
still locked up because you probably didn’t hear lockdown has been eased.
