Two more deaths and nine new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have raised death toll to 162 and the number of total infections to 2,819, Greece health authorities announced on Saturday evening.
Of the total infections 613 are related to travel abroad and 1,455 to confirmed cases in Greece.
23 patients are intubated in hospitals Intensive Care Units. Their average age is 72. Ten among them are women.
95.7% of the intubated patients have underlying health issues or are over 70 years old.
A total of 90 patients have been discharged from ICUs since the beginning of the outbreak.
Among the 162 deceased were 45 women.
The average age of the deceased was 76.
93.8%t had some underlying health problems and /or were over 70 years old.
A total of 126,283 tests have been conducted since the outbreak in Greece in late February.
