Greece’s National Meteorological Service issued a weather warning on Friday on a temporary weather deterioration with rainfalls, thunderstorms and stormy winds up to 9 even 10 Beaufort locally.
The barometric low coming from southern Italy is forecast to affect initially western Greece and gradually also central and northern Greece. According to meteo service of the National Observatory of Athens, the bad weather front will set in already on Friday evening.
According to EMY, regions affected are the islands in the Ionian Sea, Epirus, West Sterea, West Peloponnese and West Macedonia.
