A stunning sunset turned the sky in Athens into a glorious veil of orange on Monday. The amazing phenomenon occurred right after a heavy thunderstorm in the West, while rain continued to pour down in the South, the East and the North.
Athenians could not resist but taking pictures from this breathtaking phenomenon in the sky.
I confess that the picture I managed to take was a pretty miserable one.
Therefore, here are some posted by social media users.
Enjoy!

That was Athenian sky some minutes ago. Orange and pink colours, while it was raining (it still does).
It was astonishing. Dusty sky during sunset made sky looks so unusual!#athens #sky pic.twitter.com/IVteNUHSHS— kazi (@katia0) June 22, 2020
