With an amendment tabled today, the Health Ministry will makes available at pharmacies not only self-tests but also rapid tests. Note that pharmacies will carry out these tests. the Ministry had to withdraw a provision that rapid tests would be carried out in pharmacies after strong reactions by the sector. Pharmacists correctly said that they do not have the protection facilities and means to carry out such tests.
The Live Briefing by the Health Minister on the hospitals situation and the announcement of some lockdown restrictions relaxation by the Civil Protection has been delayed as there was disagreement among epidemiologists over what and how some measures would be relaxed.
KTG will report about them on a separate post.
