The Association of Greek Gym Owners staged a protest outside the Parliament on Monday demanding the re-opening of gyms that have been shut down due to the pandemic since November 2020.
Keeping safety distance, a group of gym instructors performed a series of exercises at Syntagma Square and placed several pairs of sports shoes as a symbol for a mass protest.
The sector has been particularly affected by the restriction measures against the spread of coronavirus.
The Association protested against “the lack of a rescue plan for the industry” that is “threatened with extinction.”
They ask for the reopening of the gyms …. yesterday!
