Greece’s Education Minister Niki Kerameos announced on Thursday that the school year for primary schools and kindergartens will be extended until June 25 and until June 11 for high schools and lyceums.
Further, she announced that the nationwide university entrance exams will start on June 14.
The end-of-year internal exams in schools will not take place this year.
Kerameos did not mention anything on reopening universities that have been closed for the last 14 months.
So far, a total of 9.500 teachers have been inoculated in the context of not used vaccines.
she said further that 1,753 students, teachers and administrative personnel in schools have been tsted positive to Covid-19 following the self-testing.

Did I get this right? For most children (kindergarten, primary & high schools) the end of the school year is formally announced before the formal announcement of their date of restarting their school year?
you got it wrong, they announced restart date yesterday
ah thank you…my apologies. I thought that was the planned date. I knew it had to be before 14th /15th.
“Universities closed for the last 14 months”! This is a huge catastrophe for the entire nation’s education system. My heart goes out to all the students and their families. Hopefully this will never happen again. But was it really necessary?
