Greece updates Covid-MAP: Which regions improve or worsen their status

Head of Greece’s Civil Protection Nikos Hardalias announced the update of the Covid-Map on Thursday as the Greece’s new infections have been increasing in the last couple of days.

Some regions have improved their “risk status” and in some the epidemiological load has worsened.

Based on evaluations of the Epidemiologists’ Committee the Covid-Map the regions to change their “risk status” are the following:

Regional Unit of Southern Section of Athens changes status from Yellow (Level 2) to Orange (Level 3 – high risk)

Regional units of Grevena, Ilia, Corfu, Argolida, Viotia, Halkidiki and Thira change status from Green (Level 1) to Yellow (Level 2).

Municipalities of Thira and Iites change status from Yellow (Level 2) to Orange (Level 3).

Regional Units of Kozani, Lesvos, Pieria, Ikaria and Kilkis change from Green (Level 1) to Yellow (Level 2).

The island of Corfu and the nearby islands in North and South Corfu as well as the Municipalities of Trizina and Salamina change status from Green to Yellos (Level 2).

Municipalities of Skiathos and Kos improve their status and are moved from Orange (Level 3) to Yellow (Level 2).

Also the Municipalities of Ikaria, Aigina, Alonisos and Skopelos improve status and are moved to Green (Level 1).

  1. would be great if we could see the map of the entire country (not the area south of Lamia if you get my point)

    • if you bother to click the map link you will see it. Wondering why people expect to have everything served at their screen.

    • Do you expect maybe that somebody comes to hold your finger to click on the provided link to see the whole map. If you get my point.
