One more incident of soccer fans violence took place in Thessaloniki and this time the victim was a 14=year-old boy. The teenager escaped the attackers’ rage thanks to the intervention of employees at a hotel nearby.
According to a lawsuit filed by the victim’s father, the boy was in the area of the New Beach in Thessaloniki, when he was attacked by a group of strangers.
The perpetrators beat the boy injuring him on the head and the abdomen. The boy reportedly suffered also a haematom in the liver.
While the attackers were over the teenager, they were asking hoim what soccer club he was supporting.
The attack ended when employees of a hotel nearby intervened.
The boy was in the area in the company of his 15-year-old brother who managed to escape the attack.
The incident took place on Saturday night, two days before a 19-year-old student was stabbed and died of excessive bleeding during an attack by a group of soccer fans in the same city.
Police investigates both incidents.
Αccording to latest media information, the man who stabbed the student was arrested Wednesday noon.
