Greece’s health authorities announced on Tuesday 21,121 coronavirus cases and 54 deaths in the last 24 hours. The number of intubated Covid-patients has decreased further to 365.
Note the much fewer tests due to the long weekend and Clean Monday, March 7.

Since the pandemic began, Greece has confirmed 2,538,168 infections (daily change: +0.9%). In the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 183 infections are related to travel from abroad and 1,402 to other confirmed cases.
Rolling average 14,196 from 14,607 last week.
54 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours and 3 more deaths from previous days incorporated in today’s data brought the total of pandemic victims to 26,303. Of these, 95.1% had an underlying condition and/or were aged 70 or over.

365 patients are on ventilators in hospitals. Their median age is 68 years and 88.2% have an underlying condition and/or are aged 70 or over.
Of the total in ventilation, 247 (67.67%) are unvaccinated or partly vaccinated and 118 (32.33%) are fully vaccinated.
4,307 have been discharged from ICUs since the pandemic began.
245 Covid-19 patients were admitted to hospital in the last 24 hours (daily change: -3.92%). The average daily admission of patients with Covid-19 to hospitals over the last 7 days was 275.
The median age of new infections is 36 years (range: 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of the deceased is 79 (range: 0.2 to 106 years).
