A cloud of Sahara dust is forecast to move to Greece for one more time in the last two weeks and remain until the upcoming weekend. The new dust cloud sets in today, Tuesday, April 5, and is expected to remain in the country until Thursday, April 7, while it will subside as of Friday, April 8.

According to the meteo service of the National Observatory of Athens, high concentration of dust from North Africa is estimated to cover the skies over Greece until Thursday, April 7.
Areas worst affected by the Sahara dust are the Ionian islands, Peloponnese, the Cyclades, Crete and the Dodecanese.
The Sahara cloud is expected to subside as of Friday, April 8, 2020.
