The brutal killing of an old dog by a driver on a road in Gastouni by Ilia, Peloponnese has triggered an outrage Greece, while with animal welfare societies offer a reward of a few thousands euros for information that will lead to the arrest of the perpetrator.

A grey-silver car comes from the opposite side, approaches the point where the dog is, it is slowing down and it stops in front of it for a few seconds. The driver looks at the animal, it restarts the car and runs over the dog with the front wheels and also with the back ones, before driving away from the scene.

The car’s license plates are not visible in the video, it is unclear whether the driver is a man or a woman, and the blur face of another person sitting in the back seat is to be seen.
Police is seeking the perpetrator.
The unthinkable brutality occurred on June 18, 2026 in the Station area in Gastouni and has been reported to the Pinios Police Department, while the authorities have already launched an investigation to identify the driver of the car that killed the dog.
