Booster shots against Covid-19 variants Omicron BA.4 and BA.5 started in Greece on Monday. morning.
According to recommendations by the National Vaccination Committee this booster shot is for people over 60 years old, those at risk of serious illness, immune-suppressed, as well as front-line health workers and those working with vulnerable groups. More details here on KTG.
The booster shot against Omicron BA.4 and BA.5 can be administered between three to six months after the last booster shot of last coronavirus infection.
Preconditions for the booster shot is the basic vaccination against Covid-19, that is with two or one doses of vaccine depending on the production company.
