The General Secretariat of Trade & Consumer Protection revoked on Saturday a decision to open retail stores throughout the country Sunday, November 6, due to storm EVA.
The opening, which is optional and not mandatory, was moved to next Sunday, November 13, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., the secretariat said.
Storm EVA has started to hit initially western Greece and is forecast to gradually affect the mainland and well as the islands in the Aegean Sea as well as Crete.
Meteorologists are warning of torrential rainfalls, thunderstorms with intense lightning and stormy winds.
