Greece’s Presidential Guards, the Evzones, go Syntagma Metro

Greece’s Presidential Guards, the famous Evzones, go to Metro exhibition at Syntagma square in downtown Athens. Photographer Dimitra Hatziadam exhibits photos under the title “EUZONES – The guardians of the invisible.”

The exhibition runs from March 1 to 31, 2023.

Photographer Hatziadam will present part of the photo exhibition inauguration on March 1.

The exhibition is under the auspices of the General Secretariat of Hellenism Abroad and Public Affairs Diplomacy and the support of STASY (Fixed Transport) will be held on the occasion of the National anniversary of March 25th.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see the Evzones like never before, in a modern visual effect, the elite body of the Presidential Guard, a sight that will not leave anyone unmoved.

This particular exhibition opened for the first time in Melbourne in 2021 and the General Secretariat of Hellenism in Diaspora and Public Diplomacy was the supporter of this action.

Dimitra Hatziadam is the only photographer who worked for more than 3 years with persistence, passion and vision to record the invisible everyday life of Evzones.

The result of this artistic work is the photography exhibition, which has
has already successfully traveled to 22 destinations, in- and outside Greece
