In the aftermath of storm Daniel, infrastructure in Central Greece continues to collapse due to the huge volume of water, corrosion and botchery.
The bridge at Palaiopyrgos collapse on Thursday morning.
This particular bridge reportedly connects Paleopyrgos with Alexandrini, the coastal villages of the Municipality of Tempo and Strintzos and it lead towards the main road of Omoli towards Stomio.
According to state ERT TV, a breeder and his son were with the tractor on the bridge at the time is started to collapse. The father saw a wall moving, the son jumped off the tractor and left the bridge on foot, while the father left the bridge driving backward. both were heading to their animal farm.
With the collapse of the bridge, access to the Palaiopyrgos area is via Pyrgetos.
