Luminous Transient Events (TLE’s) over storms in the Greek area: a very rare phenomenon, the Red Sprites, occurred over a storm in the Aegean Sea on November 12, 2023.
The amazing phenomenon was capture by @csath who posted the picture on social media.

Red Sprites can appear directly above an active thunderstorm as a large but weak flash. They occur at altitudes of about 50 miles into the atmosphere and account for only 5 percent of all lightning phenomena.
Large thunderstorms are capable of producing other kinds of electrical phenomena called transient luminous events (TLE’s). The most common TLE’s include red sprites, blue jets, and elves.
Very cool
