Τaxi drivers in Athens will launch a 24-hour strike on Monday, September9, 2024, their union SATA announced on Friday.
The strike will start at 5 a.m. on Monday and will end at 5 a.m. on Tuesday. September 10.
With the strike, union SATA said, among others, it will show its opposition to the new tax and insurance laws as well as the mandatory transition to electric cars as of 2026.
