Netflix has implemented a price increase for all subscribers in Greece without any prior announcement.
The updated pricing includes increases ranging from 1 euro to 2 euros, with the new rates as follows:
- Basic Plan: From €7.99 to €8.99
- Standard Plan: From €10.99 to €12.49
- Premium Plan: From €13.99 to €15.99
Netflix has started to raise prices in some countries as growth spurred by its crackdown on password sharing starts to fade, BBC reported last month.
The streaming giant revealed it recently increased subscription fees in Japan, several European countries, the Middle East, and Africa over the past month.
Price adjustments have also been introduced in Italy and Spain, according to BBC.
In its latest earnings report, Netflix disclosed a gain of 5.1 million subscribers between July and September, surpassing expectations but marking the smallest increase in over a year.
