Thank you very much for your wishes!

I have been deeply touched for the readers’ feedback and wishes since I slowly returned to writing and reporting.

I was surprised also to see many readers with whom I never interacted in the past and I admit I was not aware of their existence.

I missed you too, guys and girls, and I hope 2025 will be a much better year for everybody.

I think for the time being I will keep the ‘slow’ reporting on essential news items only. I’m currently advised to rest as much as I can, to eat more than I can and to  refrain from getting upset by watching …Greek news on TV (LOL)

  1. I wish you a speedy recovery 🙏

  2. Glad to have you back! It might perhaps not always seem that way but I think you have quite a bit of followers.
I don’t know much about your current circumstances, which are none of my business anyway, but reading between the lines I can imagine that perhaps you have ‘news fatigue’. But that is all speculation on my part.

I have discommected. There is so much negativity going on in the world that I am shutting off. There is nothing I can do about it. I think a lot of people want to disconnect from the world and many feel disconnected from other people, which is a bad thing. We need to reconnect to ourselves, to other people, to Nature.

We shouldn’t let those that want to disconnect us from each other win.

nah, body needs to recover. On the other hand, the world has started to terrify us, many feel just helpless. We can still report the news, make them more personal, let’s say with deli recipes, our pets stories, the flops of the governments. I think KTG needs also an improved concept but I haven’t come to this yet. I kind of lacking inspiration for the time being. this resting time may help me with new ideas.

My way of disconnection is to limit swearing. Difficult nowadays. But I managed almost a month of swear-free days. lol

      • Get some wel deserved rest!

Regarding concept, I don’t know what to recommend. I think it is fine the way it is.

Perhaps people can be more active in the comment section.

No-swearing is good but it often provides a necessary release and relief from all the madness and stupidity going on. Not just in Greece…

  3. Welcome back, you have been missed. Your articles with the cryptic comments at the end gave more truth and information than many of the boring news programmes which go on for hours with participants shouting at each other.
Take your time to recover and slowly return fully energised. Be kind to yourself.

  4. Take all the time you need, we’ll still be here. I beleive what the world needs right now is more laughter, more lightness to balance out the ‘bad stuff’. Dejan is right, we do need to reconnect to the positive and to each other. Perhaps KTG could somehow also become a vehicule for this ? All the best to you ,oving forward.

you’re right. I might use this time of less reporting more relaxing for some thoughts. As first step I’m thinking to write a post ad ask readers if they have any ideas.

  5. So glad to have you back, KTG!
The news nowadays are mostly bad ones, you need to know but they surely does not bring any joy.
But one thing is good, we are moving towards spring and the sun is coming back!!

  6. Welcome back. I read you everyday. Hopefully you will be feeling better soon.

  7. Welcome back, it’s a pleasure to see you writing again and keeping us updated with Greek news!
Best of luck for 2025, wishing you a nice and smoother year than the way 2024 seems to have ended for you.
    Best
