Protesters heading to the big Tempi rally at Syntagma Square in downtown Athens on Friday, February 28, can use the “solidarity taxi” free of charge.
The Attica Taxi Drivers Association (SOTA) announced the pick-up points for protesters by volunteer drivers
- Metaxourgeio Metro Station
- Megaro Musikis Metro Station
- ISAP Victoria Square Station
- Syggrou Fix Metro Station
The solidarity taxis as well as the pick-up points will have the following signage, the SOTA said in a post on Facebook.
Taxis, buses and trolley buses have declared a 24-hour strike, while fix-track public transport means – Metro, Tram, Urban Train ISAP – will operate on limited schedule to facilitate citizens to join the rally and return home.
The rally will start at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025.
