Athens metro and tram services will operate in accordance with a modified scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 24-25, 2026 due to the parades for the March 25 national holiday marking the anniversary of the 1821 Greek Revolution.
According to an announcement by the operator STASY:
– ‘Syntagma’ metro station will close at 8:00 in the morning and reopen after the parades have ended on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Trains will pass through the station without stopping.
– Tram line 6 (Pikrodafni – Syntagma) will make its last stop at Vouliagmenis Avenue on Tuesday, starting at 8:00 in the morning, and at the Fix stop on Wednesday, from the start of the shift until the conclusion of the parades.
– Tram line 7 (Asklipio Voula – Akti Poseidonos, Piraeus) will end at the Peace and Friendship Stadium (SEF) stop from 9:00 on Wednesday morning until 14:00, and from the P. Dimarchio stop to the SEF stop from 11:00 on Wednesday until 13:00.
