Horrible accident in reality show Survivor Greece: A contestant had part of his leg ambulated after he got seriously injured when a touristic boat hit him during spearfishing in the Dominican Republic.
22-year-old Stavros Floros is reportedly in serious condition. He cannot be transferred to Greece immediately, health minister Adonis Georgiadis announced.
Skai TV has indefinitely suspended the broadcast of the reality program.

The 22-year-old Survivor player was seriously injured by a speedboat that was passing by during a snorkeling trip, resulting in a partial amputation of his left leg, while he also has serious injuries to his right one.
According to the Dominican Republic Navy, the boat named “Adrien III” was the one that hit the 22-year-old.
According to the captain of the boat, it was heading to the island of Saona for a tourist excursion when it hit 22-year-old Stavros Floros, who was diving in the area where “Survivor” is being filmed.
He had allegedly no buoy to mark his position in the sea and he was diving outside the competition filming..
The injured man suffered a partial amputation of his left leg and a serious injury to his right ankle, injuries caused by the propellers of the outboard motors.
He was immediately provided with first aid by the National 9-1-1 Emergency Response System and was then transferred to the Central Romana Medical Center, where he remains under specialized medical care.
Stavros Floros from Kavala in northern Greece, is one of the prominent contestants of this year’s Survivor series.
He is one of ten children in his family and from a young age he began working in construction and fields. His family owns a beekeeping business, where he was also professionally involved before going to Survivor.
At the same time, he has also completed his studies in the Accounting and Finance department, but he preferred to work with land.

BROADCAST SUSPENDED
Skai TV and production company issued a statement saying that the broadcasting has been suspended indefinitely.
“According to the information obtained so far, the accident occurred while the contestant was spearfishing outside the competition process when a tourist boat struck him. From the very first moment, swift action was taken to provide assistance to the injured person and safely transport him to the hospital.
An investigation is being conducted by the competent port authorities to clarify the causes and all circumstances of the incident.
The contestant is in serious but stable condition in the hospital and is not in life-threatening danger.”
