Greece’s taxi owners will launch a 24-hour strike on September 8th 2011 demanding changes in the reform bill about their profession. Taxi owners demand that the licenses will be distributed according to population criteria as it happens in many European countries.
Fact is, you should not expect to catch a cab from Thursday 5 a.m. to Friday 5 a.m. and you should either change your plans or find other transport possibilities or even just stay home and … cook!
