Ha! Some members of the Greek Parliament and some elected mayors are more clever than the rest of us and have been receiving double pensions for seven months. That is, during the time when every average citizen had to cut here and there, see income decreasing and taxes increasing, pay extra taxes and try to make ends meet. The scandal was revealed by Fotini Pipili, an MP from conservative Nea Dimokratia party. When she submitted a relevant question to the Parliament, deputy Finance minister Philippos Sachinidis admitted that indeed some deputies received the double pensions without even the austerity cuts of 70% as voted by a law in July 2010!
Furthermore there are the cases MPs, prefects and other elected members of the administration who can earn even three salaries form the state. For their current and even former professional activities as state employees.
