2. It is probably true that the Greek peoples motives are different to hers, but which ones are better for the country?

   • there are Greek wanting to keep the status quo that includes all negative features, there are Greeks that want some structural changes (trimming down the public sector) , thus many Greeks cannot deal anymore with the heavy taxes. Just increasing taxes and do nothing else is definietly not a solution. However nobody can claim IMF programmes are a panacea to all wounds.

4. I am going to lose sleep tonight because “We’re not terribly positive about what has been done but we want to put together a program for the country,” Lagarde said. Oh wait was she talking about Greece or was this about France(whose credit rating was also lowered). I get mixed up sometimes when all these perfect people who of course forget they live in glass houses also come here and try to DICTATE to us what is the best for us. I had a mother and have a father I do not need anyone else telling me what is good for me. My humble opinion to all. :/

   • GREEKS STUNNED AS TROIKA TAKES POWER————I don’t know why Greeks are so stunned that the EU (Legarde, is part of the EU regardless of her IMF credentials) want to take over their country & sovereignty, they were warned time again the aims of the EU, mainly Germany & France, AntonX dismissed the idea as ridiculous, that those who said as much were conspiracy theorists. Perhaps now is the time for the Greek people to call for the drachma to be re-introduced, yes they will find it hard going for a few years, but not as hard as it is now, and not as hard as losing your country, identity, culture & heritage, which without a shadow of a doubt will happen. Next Italy, Ireland and Portugal will get the same invitation. relinquish your country or no money. It’s just the start of raping nation states of their own identities, this is the beginning of the end game. If Greek politicans end up agreeing to hand the country over I hope the Greek people string them up one by one.

6. Greece’s progress eh? I wish I could find the blog article I read a few days ago, but alas I cannot. Basically, it was comparing Greeks to the dinosaurs how they just went out of existence and new species Humans came on board, and the article said (or assumed) that in 30 years there will be so many immigrants that like the dinosaurs, Greeks will slowly disappear and immigrants will be the new Greece. Finally, the article said maybe the new species (immigrants) will run Greece better than the dinosaurs.

   Now, is that some crazy thinking?????
