Χριστός Ανέστη – Christ is Risen – Xρόνια Πολλά

“Χριστός Ανέστη” and “Χρόνια Πολλά” are the common wishes Greeks exchange on the Easter Day. A mild sunny day on the austerity-salvation year 2012. “Christ is Risen” and “Many Happy Returns”. Wishes that come form the heart. For a better future. A few hours to forget the Greek economic crisis and celebrate Jesus Resurrection with family and friends. With lamb roasted on the spit, cracking eggs and dancing.

This Easter will have miracles for all!

Take a break and enjoy the day 🙂

  1. Αληθώς Ανέστη! And Χρόνια Πολλά to you and all your loved ones. I hope this Πάσχα was a good one to you all.

    • this Pascha was a moderate one, however with lots of kokoresti (feel kind of fat suddenly). How was yours?

      • Moderate is a good description. We were at our friends place. 20 People, a lamb and kokoretsi, some salads and bread. Our friend makes the best kokoretsi I have ever tasted. And we made and brought the sweets.
We have my parents in law over and this was their first real Greek Pascha. They were duly impressed by being included in the family and the hospitality.
