Leader of Democratic Left, Fotis Kouvelis, implied he may be willing to a coalition government and seems as if he is in stand-by but depending on what other parties would agree upon. Speaking after the meeting with Samaras Kouvelis said,
“A covered ND-PASOK government would not be in harmony with people’s expectations. There must be a government of broader acceptance that secures staying in euro area and ensuring the disengagement from the Memorandum of Understanding.”
“Every political power must clarify its stance,” Kouvelis stressed and added that our proposal includes the powers of the left.
