Samara’s gov’t loses one more seat as PASOK MP goes independent

Greece’s three-party coalition government lost one more seat, when MP Christos Aidonis resigned from PASOK party on Thursday morning. According to his resignation letter, the MP said he resigned from socialist PASOK because of the handling of Lagarde list by leader Evangelos Venizelos. With Aidonis resignation, the number of seats fro Samaras’ government drops to 164. when the coalition of Nea Dimocratia-PASOK-Democratic Left came to power after the June elections it had 179 seats in a parliament of 300.
