A Greek pensioner was very worried about his savings amid the bad example of Cyprus crisis and the Eurogroup decisions to grab people’s deposits.
The man from Patras in western Peloponnese went recently to the bank and withdrew his savings: 25,000 euro. He stuffed the money cartons full of books in his home basement.
However, mice eager to educate themselves started to …read the books and the euro bank notes.
When the man went to check his wealth, he found just pieces of books and banknotes.
It has been not known what exactly was the haircut the mice caused to the pensioner’s home deposits.
PS lesson of the day: better spend your savings than deposit them in banks or elsewhere…
how would it look like? probably like this….
