The oil spill the mainland and the coastline of Piraeus and Athens up to Glyfada.
A big oil spill has been spotted in the sea off Voula on Wed night, there are efforts to set up floating dams to avoid the spill reaching the coast.
Depending on the weather conditions, the oil spill could reach even to Vouliagmeni and Cape Sounion in the Attica region or other islands in the Saronic Gulf, experts said on Greek TV channels.
