Extended Winter sales aiming to boost the retail market start in Greece on Monday January 8th 2018 and will last until 28 February.
According to the legislation, retail shops may open also on the first Sunday of the Winter sales, on January 14th from 11 a.m. to 08:00 p.m.
Retailers are obliged to write on products both the old price and the new one incl the percentage of discount.
Fines threaten retailers if proved that the discounts are fake.
