A big Search and Rescue operation is underway in the sea area North-East of the island of Lesvos after a 15-year-old girl went missing following the capsize of a boat carrying migrants from Turkey to Greece.
Despite the bad weather conditions with powerful winds, the boat left the Turkish coast with 46 migrants.
It capsized near the rocky area of Tsonia. With the exception of the girl, the migrants managed to reach the rocks and escape death
Her parents told Greek authorities that their 15-year-old daughter has been missing.
The operations continues, while powerful winds of 8 Beaufort are blowing in the area.
