The powerful winds in the Aegean Sea had halted new arrivals of refugees and migrants, but only for short time, that is Sunday.
A total of 141 people landed on the shores on the island of Lesvos on Monday morning.
Between Friday and Saturday, a total of 131 had reached the island.
According to police authorities, no refugees or migrants arrived on the other islands of the Aegean Sea on these couple of days.
Winds weakened on Sunday night.
Turkish President Recep Tayyipt Erdogan had repeatedly threatened to open the gate and let million of Syrian refugees come to Greece and consequently Europe.
Greece has seen a permanent increase of illegal arrivals fo9rm Turkey since end of august, when Erdogan shot his first threats.

Cue for letters castigating the Greek government for “not doing enough”…..
