Greek summer in Autumn with temperatures up to 36 C

Sunshine and temperatures up to 36 degrees Celsius in the middle of September hint that the famous Greek summer is not over. Not yet. Not on Wednesday, September 18, 2019.

Temperatures will range in Western Macedonia from 8 to 29 degrees, Northern Greece from 12 to 34 degrees, Epirus from 11 to 30 degrees, Western and Southern Greece from 17 to 32 degrees, Central Greece from 15 to 36 degrees. other continents from 16 to 35 degrees, the Ionian Islands from 18 to 27 and the Aegean islands from 16 to 19 degrees.

In the eastern Aegean islands the maximum temperature will reach 31 C locally, while in the Sporades and the Cyclades islands will be up to 27 C.

Mainly south winds will be blowing in the Aegean Sea with low to moderate intensity. However, late at night they will intensify in the North Aegean with up to 6-7 Beaufort and possibly up to 8 B locally.

Attica: possible light rainfalls, otherwise temperature up to 32 C., winds will be light and temperatures will range in the city of Athens from 20 to 32 degrees.

Thessaloniki: a few thunderstorms, temperature up to 32 C and winds up to 6-7B at night.
