Greek summer in Autumn with temperatures up to 36 C

Sunshine and temperatures up to 36 degrees Celsius in the middle of September hint that the famous Greek summer is not over. Not yet. Not on Wednesday, September 18, 2019.

In the eastern Aegean islands the maximum temperature will reach 31 C locally, while in the Sporades and the Cyclades islands will be up to 27 C.

Mainly south winds will be blowing in the Aegean Sea with low to moderate intensity. However, late at night they will intensify in the North Aegean with up to 6-7 Beaufort and possibly up to 8 B locally.

Attica: possible light rainfalls, otherwise temperature up to 32 C., winds will be light and temperatures will range in the city of Athens from 20 to 32 degrees.

Thessaloniki: a few thunderstorms, temperature up to 32 C and winds up to 6-7B at night.
