Greece’s ruling party New Democracy leads with 14.5% over main opposition left-wing SYRIZA in the latest poll, two months after the conservative party came in power.
According to a public opinion poll conducted by MRB on behalf of private Star TV, respondents said they favored:
New Democracy 36.5%
SYRIZA 21.9%
KINAL/PASOK 6.4%
KKE 4.8%
MeRA25 4.3%
Greek Solution 3.1%
“Undecided” 14.8%
remaining rates: other parties/abstention
To the question who they consider as the most suitable prime minister, respondents said at
46.5% Kyriakos Mitsotakis
25.9% Alexis Tsipras
20.7% responded “none of them”
Respondents see the government work as “positive/rather positive” at 61.4% and “negative/rather negative” at 24.4%.
PS Right after it won the July elections, New Democracy proceeded with some tax relief measures like discounts in the property Tax (ENFIA). The remaining tax reliefs and other measures and reforms it had promised are to be materialize in the time period of the next 3-4 years.
Votes may give Mitsotakis and ND a “mercy time” of maximum one year…
