Public and private sector unions have declared a 24-hour general strike on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 to protest the “development Law” tabled by the conservative government. Also workers at public transport means participate on the strike.
Buses, Trolley buses and Urban Train ISAP (Metro Lin 1) will be on 24h strike.
Metro Lines 2 and 3 will operate between 09:00 am and 09:00 pm
Tram will operate between 07:00 and 11:00 pm
Ferries will remain docked as seamen and dockworkers participate in the 24h strike
Workers at Trains and Proastiakos have announced a 24-hour strike on Thursday, September 26, 2019.
The proastiakos strike will affect the Metro Line 2 to/from Athens International Airport as the wagons will halt at <Doukissis Plakentias> station.
