In an operation that started at 6:30 Monday morning, Greek police removed dozens of refugees and migrants from another squat in Exarchia district of Athens.
More than 143 foreign nationals, including many families, had to pack their things and leave the building that was occupied since 2015. Among them there were 50 children.

The people were boarded on police buses and were transferred to the Alien Department of the Police.
After their registration and identification, those with legal documents will be transferred to facilities hosting refugees and migrants, most likely in Corinth just like other migrants from evacuated form other squats in Exarchia.
Those without papers will be deported.

Before it was abandoned by the Greek state in 2103, the building was hosting a school.

Police searched the squat also for drugs but nothing was found. However, they found a hencoop on the roof top.
It is the sixth squat police evacuates in Exarchia since end of August.
