The historic grotesque “The Favorite” by Greek director, Yorgos Lanthimos, has won several prizes at the European Film Awards (EFAs) 2019, The film was announced as the Best European Film and Lanthimos as Best Director by the European Film Academy in Berlin on Saturday.
