A mini summer in February is forecast for Greece with temperatures exceeding 20 degrees Celsius. Particularly higher than the seasonal average. Sharp temperature drop as of February 5, 2020.
The hot air masses that have been affecting Europe since Friday, January 31, are expected to reach Greece in the next two days, Monday and Tuesday, February 3 and 4.
Meteorologists forecast maximum temperatures to exceed 20 degrees Celsius in several regions of the country. The peak of the hot weather is forecast for Tuesday.

The mini Greek summer will be of short duration, though, with a gradual but sharp temperature drop as of Wednesday, February 5.
Temperature decrease is expected to be dramatic reaching even more than 10 degrees Celsius.

Snow is forecast in the mountainous and semi-mountainous regions of North and Central Greece and even in North Attica on Feb 5.
The weather is forecast to gradually improve as of Saturday, February 8, 2020.
